Guarantees for Neoprene products and suits
The guarantee includes all the elements connected to work done in the factory, sewing, gluing, zippers, various finishing tapes and the quality of the raw materials. This guarantee is not time limited: we will repair at our own cost any defect in materials or workmanship that is not the result of improper or unreasonable use of the product.
Warning
The seams and the protective layer covering the rubber fabric of the suit are prone to show signs of abrasion if rubbed against rough or hard surfaces such as rocks or other diving equipment (a buoyancy control device, for example, rubs the suit and leaves marks). Blue iridescent colors tend to fade quicker. Extensive use of the diving suit at greater depths compresses the rubber fabric of the suit.
Putting the suit on or removing it incorrectly or an excessive number of times will also cause faster wear on the suit. Excessive exposure to sunlight also causes the suit to wear faster.
Guarantee of suit's fitting
The company guarantees the suits size and fitting for one year following the date of purchase and at no extra cost. Alterations and additions such addition or removal of head covering, suit protection additions, extra zips that the client requests following purchase will be done according to the company's price list.
Guarantee for Lycra products
There is a lifetime guarantee on all stitching on Lycra products.
The guarantee is not valid for use not in accordance with the manufactures guidelines and instructions that can be found on the label.
For your information, bleach, chlorine, sun and sea water are the enemies of this product. After every use you must hand wash the product in fresh, lukewarm water. Use of bleach and chemicals found in swimming pools causes the fabric to quickly deteriorate.
Rubbing against rough or hard surfaces such as rocks, surf boards, water slides, sand or diving equipment - particularly buoyancy control jackets - causes damage to the material.
Warning
The material must not be ironed or dried in a tumble dryer. It is not advisable to leave a garment in the sun to dry. You should not leave the garment folded of crumpled when it is wet.
For your information: bright blue and iridescent colors have a tendency to fade faster than other colors. The product should be washed by hand, in fresh, lukewarm water to remove all traces of bleach, chlorine, and residual sand immediately following usage.
Guarantee for bags and weight belts:
There is a life time guarantee for stitching, zips and the various finishing tapes. The guarantee is not valid for damage caused by improper or unusual treatment.
Important! Rough or hard surfaces as well as extended exposure or drying in the sun cause damage to the products durability. The products should be washed in fresh water after every use.
When ordering a made to measure suit with a special order:
The date of the first fitting, constitutes the supply date
The company is not responsible for uncollected equipment after three months from the supply date printed on the order form.
SEPA - SH.A.L Diving Suits Ltd. is committed to guaranteeing the product under the following conditions:
•1. The product guarantee is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase,
•2. Diving vests, buoyancy jackets and any other technical equipment that requires periodic servicing, must be serviced by a one of our company's qualified technicians at least once a year or after 100 dives, whichever comes first. The company guarantees that the equipment will be in full working order providing that it has been used reasonably and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions,
•3. The guarantee is valid for service only at our workshop or any other workshop approved by the company. Delivery of the product to the workshop is at the cost and responsibility of the client.
•4. The guarantee will not be valid if any servicing, alteration, dismantling or repairs have been performed on the equipment by anybody who is not a certified technician of the company.
•5. The decision whether to deal with equipment that has not been serviced or repaired in the past and in accordance with these conditions by the company is at the sole discretion of the technician.
•6. The guarantee includes all spare parts and labor costs needed to repair or replace the product in order to return it to a full state of usage (not including regular servicing as the result of normal usage).
•7. Servicing of a damages product will be performed by our customer service department and an answer will be provided within 14 working days from the product arriving at our facility, unless the product has been returned to the manufacturer abroad.
SEPA's Product Guarantee
We guarantee all the components used in our factory and workshops such as: zippers (apart from dry zips), seams and stitching, gluing and various finishing strips.
Additionally, we guarantee the quality of all raw materials used.
This is a lifetime guarantee.
We will repair, at our own expense, all defects in materials or workmanship that are not the result of improper usage or unreasonable usage of the product.
•· The guarantee does not cover neoprene or Lycra garments that have been used in pools containing chemicals.
•· The guarantee does not cover suit repairs by companies other than SEPA.
